Missing People:

In conversation with Julie Clark

Approximately 35,000 people go missing in Australia every year. There is a terrible legacy for families, friends and communities.

An expert in missing persons research, Dr Julie Clark, discusses this phenomenon and how it should be on the radar for all human services workers. Understanding ‘missingness’ raises questions about how social workers can include the possibility of going missing in social work assessments and best support those people affected.
